A number of new television and movie releases hit the shelves today (September 21st) that may tempt TV warranty shoppers to upgrade to Blu-ray.
Those with an existing player can now expect to get their hands on the complete Fast & Furious box set which features all four of the movies and in addition to stars like Vin Diesel and Paul Walker, provides automotive thrills in abundance.
Film lovers looking for something a little more cerebral may appreciate the launch of State of Play, a thriller based on the BBC series of the same name and starring Oscar-winners Russell Crowe and Helen Mirren.
Light hearted action adventure is also available in the kung-fu slapstick comedy Shaolin Soccer, while Simon Pegg and Nick Frost play the zombie genre for laughs in 2004's Shaun of the Dead.
TV lovers who missed out on the sci-fi re-invention of Battlestar Galactica can now catch the complete series on standard and limited edition Blu-ray from today and the second season of Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles is also now in stores.
