How to retune your TV for the digital switchover

The digital switchover is well under way, with the West Country being the latest ITV region to turn off the analogue signal. 

For your television and receiving equipment (such as a Freeview box) to work, they must have the pink ‘Digital Tick’ logo, or have been converted for digital use (for more information on this see our quick guide to the digital switchover).


However, according to Digital UK, even ‘digital-ready’ equipment will need to be retuned after switchover if you have or are planning to get Freeview, BT Vision or Top Up TV.
