Summary of protection
Protect your PC, laptop or Mac
Computer Care offers protection for your PC, laptop and Mac, and for your printer and scanner (for a small additional sum). If you’ve got a PC, the plan will protect your base unit, monitor, mouse and keyboard. If you’ve got a laptop, the plan will protect your laptop and all internal hardware and components.
Breakdown repairs without bills
If your appliance breaks down (mechanical or electrical breakdown) you can claim a repair from a quality-approved engineer. The plan will take care of the bill.
If we can’t repair it, we’ll offer you a replacement
If your equipment proves uneconomical to repair, we’ll offer you a replacement (up to the value of £1,000).
No bills to pay
In most cases we’ll take care of the bill directly so there’s no need to pay and reclaim your money or fill in a claim form.
Change your mind at any time
You can cancel at any time for a refund of the remaining months’ fee (again, provided you have not made a claim).
What’s not included?
The plan will not pay for claims resulting from:
- Theft
- Damage caused by accidents
- Software failure
- Cosmetic damage
