Summary of Protection

You will receive different benefits depending on the level of protection you choose. The levels of protection are:


At a glance

Cover levels for Conventional Boilers

  • Platinum Cover
  • Gold Cover

  • Silver Cover

The Platinum plan includes cover for your boiler, controls, system and annual service :

  • Your boiler (including all component parts within)
  • Water circulating pump
  • Cylinder thermostat
  • Time control (excluding energy management systems)
  • Room thermostat
  • Motorised valve(s)
  • Radiators
  • Radiator valves
  • Above ground internal pipework easily accessible and not contained within the fabric of the building.
  • Standard indirect hot water cylinder and expansion tank
  • Annual Boiler Service carried out in accordance with the manufacturer's recommendations and current statutory regulations

 

The Gold plan includes cover for your boiler, controls and annual service :

  • Your boiler (including all component parts within)
  • Water circulating pump
  • Cylinder thermostat
  • Time control (excluding energy management systems)
  • Room thermostat
  • Motorised valve(s)
  • Annual Boiler Service carried out in accordance with the manufacturer's recommendations and current statutory regulations

The Silver Plus plan includes cover for your boiler, controls and system :

  • Your boiler (including all component parts within)
  • Water circulating pump
  • Cylinder thermostat
  • Time control (excluding energy management systems)
  • Room thermostat
  • Motorised valve(s)
  • Radiators
  • Radiator valves

All plans will give you:

Quality-approved repairs
All work is carried out by quality-approved, CORGI-registered engineers.

No bills to pay
In most cases we’ll take care of the bill directly so there’s no need to pay and reclaim your money or fill in a claim form.

Scale damage included
Even if it is scale that has caused your boiler to break down, you can still claim a repair.

Change your mind at any time
you can cancel at any time for a refund of the remaining months’ fee. Your plan will come into force 30 days after your application is processed.

What’s not included?
The plan will not pay for:

  • Accidental damage, theft, attempted theft, malicious damage or damage caused by fire or explosion;
  • Labour charges for work outside our repairer's normal working hours;
  • Costs arising from not being able to use your equipment;
  • Hidden pipe work, gas pipes to the boiler and flues from the boiler;
  • Large water cylinders holding more than 40 gallons (182 litres) or boilers with large heat outputs (exceeding 200,000 BTU/Hr 58.6KW input);
  • Claims arising from any problem with the supply of electricity, gas, oil or water;
  • Claims arising from sludge or blockages;
  • Claims arising from clearing airlocks, balancing and venting radiators or work caused by equipment which is not installed correctly;

Your Repair Protection Plan is provided by Domestic & General Services Limited (Registered Number 1970780) part of Domestic & General Group Holdings Limited and our registered office is at Swan Court, 11 Worple Road, Wimbledon SW19 4JS. This agreement does not affect your statutory rights.
